Our sincerest condolences to the Casciato family. I (Gene) was a neighbor of the Casciato's on Pentridge street in Philadelphia. Many fond childhood memories of that time in my life when I was a little boy spending my days with the Casciato kids-Louis, Karen, Minnie, and Kathleen. Our parents were good friends and neighbors and my father Angelo used to work at West Chester where the senior Louis Casciato was a teacher. Louis junior will be sorely missed. Again-our condolences and blessings to the Casciato family to their loss.

God bless-Gene and Faye

To the Casciato Family --

I want to offer my deepest condolences. I taught with Lou in the philosophy department at Delaware County Community College. He was a fine man and a true philosopher. He is gone from us too soon, and he will be sorely missed.

Lou was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He always had a smile and the most gentle and kind demeanor. I loved walking to our cars together after a day of facing the challenges of a college classroom. I will miss him dearly. My heart breaks for his family.

To the Casciato Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of such a great guy! We loved
Louie, and he will be truly missed. He was always ready with a kind word and a big
smile and laugh. We enjoyed visits with him and chatting about anything, going to
movies or getting a bite to eat. We love his photo with that beautiful smile! It will
not be the same without him in our lives, and we will never forget him.
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Much love,
John, Angela, & Scott Tierney & Mr. P., too!

My sincere condolences to Lou's family. Lou was a treasured friend of my family (The Tierneys). I always enjoyed seeing Lou on my visits home. We would talk about his favorite books and philosophy. He was always interesting, friendly and engaging. Last July, Lou visited my Mom when I happened to be visiting. He brought her flowers and her favorite bread pudding. We had a lovely lunch and sat on the porch. We talked and enjoyed the time. I will remember that time fondly.

Uncle Louis was one of the nicest people you could meet. He always was smiling and was always so kind and friendly. I remember going to the movies often with Uncle Louis, and we always had a great time. He will always have a special place in my heart. God Bless.
