John, As we called you when we met in 1988 to do the first appraisal in Wyoming of the Widener collection. I have so many pictures and stories of that life. I am terrible, but think I sent a picture which was taking in 1991 around Christmas at a small Mexican restaurant we went to. Here is the lineup:
John, Tony Houston, Ron Schaffer, Madeleine and Mary, it was an unbelievable evening, we had so much fun.
You came to visit us in Florida, Gary & I took you to Chuck & Harolds in Palm Beach. You & I bummed around Billings, Wy night before a flight home, you found a treasure of a book, I got a small tray which I look at every day.
John's kindness & enthusiasm for life will be in our memory always.
