Kenneth Anesko

Kenneth Anesko,   age 80, of   Drexel Hill, PA and Dickson City, PA., died March 25, 2015 at Taylor Hospital , Ridley Park, PA.

Born in Dickson City, son of the late Charles and Lottie (Shortz) Anesko, he was a 1951 graduate of Dickson City High School and a 1959 graduate of  Scranton, with a degree in Accounting.  He also studied at Rutgers and Temple Universities.  He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War having served on the Destroyer USS Gainard, DD 706.  He was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City and the American Legion Post 667, Havertown, PA

Prior to retirement he was employed by the US Treasury Dept., Phila., PA as an Internal Revenue Agent, and served in that capacity for 23 years.  He also worked for the US Army Electronics Command, Phila., PA as a Cost Accountant and for the General Electric Co., Phila., PA as a Contract Analyst.

Kenneth is survived by his nephews, Richard Anesko of  Sierra Vista, Arizona and Alexander Anesko of  Brunswick, Maine.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard.  Funeral arrangements private.
