Richard Jeffery

Jeffery,  Richard on  April 2, 2017, age 84 of Phila.  Loving husband of the late Mary Agnes (nee McTeague) Jeffery.  Loving father of Anne Kenter, Megan Noel Jeffery and the late Mary Ellen Speaker.  Grandfather of Colleen & Brady.  Great-grandfather to Aela Roux.  Also survived by son-in-law Dale Roberson.  Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He worked for the Philadelphia Naval Shipment for 12 years, as an engineering supervisor.  His kindness and sense of humor made him endearing.  He genuinely liked to help people.  His intelligence was obvious, but never flouted.  He will be deeply missed.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass Wed., April 19, 10:30 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 20th & Locusts Sts., Phila., PA 19103 where friends may call from 9:30 AM Wednesday at the church.  Visitation also Tues. evening 6-8:00 PM at the Wm. H. Logan Funeral Home, 2410 Lombard St., Phila. PA 19146.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
