John J. Fox, age 89, of Upper Darby, PA passed away at on December 4th, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph & Margaret (nee Daley) Fox. John shared 62 years of marriage with his beloved wife Mary T. (nee Corey) Fox. A World War II Army veteran, he served as an Upper Darby Police Officer for thirty two years and was a member of the Delaware County F.O.P. Lodge 27. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Alice Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed photography and was a coin collector. He is survived by brother-in-law Sam (the late Ann) Basile and sister-in-law Margaret "Peg" (late Francis "Bud") Corey and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral mass on Monday at 10:45 A.M. at St. Francis Country House, 1412 Lansdowne Ave., Darby, PA 19023 with a visitation for family and friends 9:30-10:40 A.M. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cem., Springfield, PA
