James P., On October 23, 2016, of Schuylkill, Army Veteran, Former Employee of the Philadelphia Inquirer.  Husband of the late Joann A. (nee Lavery) McCaughan.  Brother of Ellen Gipson, Margaret, Kathryn Blaney, Edward, Anna Perkins, Bernard and the late Elizabeth Ann Connelly, Mary McGuire, William, Thomas and Joseph McCaughan.   Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass Friday 10:30 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 20th & Locust Sts., Philadelphia, PA 19103, where friends may call from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM Friday at the church, Interment is Private.  In lieu of flowers family prefers contributions to  The Schuylkill & Devil's Pocket Veteran's Memorial - Attn:  Bob McFadden, 613 S.
