Harold B. Carstensen,  Jr. "Skip", 71, died on April 18, 2015.  Retired Lieutenant Colonel  who served 20 years in the Army with distinguished service in Korea, Vietnam & Germany.  Received the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service. An avid golfer - Member of Hersheys Mill Golf Club in PA and Stoneybrook Golf & Country Club in Sarasota, FL.  He was an avid plane enthusiast with a vast collection and flew in National Competitions while living in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He retired in 2008 from IBM after a prestigious managerial career in the Computer Industry following his military service.

 

 Husband of Patricia (nee Ericson) Carstensen and the late Ilse (nee Eller) Carstensen.  Also survived by son, Kevin (Leya) Carstensen of Howell, MI and daughter, Robin Carstensen  of Corpus Christi, TX. Grandchildren Maxwell, Morgan, Margaret & Meredith Carstensen, Libby and Charlie Blok.  Also sister Marsha Carstensen of Live Oak, FL and brother, Harris Carstensen of Fargo, ND  Also survived by son, Harold Benjamin Carstensen, III and daughter, Felicia Vuletich and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. 

 

 Relatives and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life, 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Logan Funeral Home, 698 E. Lincoln Hwy., Exton, PA 19341 where friends may call from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the funeral home.  Friends may also call Tuesday, June 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

 

 Private Interment at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C., July 2, 2015.
