Catherine M. (Diamond) McFadden

Catherine "Kay" Marie McFadden (nee Diamond), age 77, recently of Malvern, PA passed peacefully on October 19, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 56 years to Patrick J McFadden (deceased), loving mother of six children: Barbara Lesky (Tom), Patrick J. McFadden (Dot), Michael D. McFadden (Melanie), Robert H. McFadden (Ashley), Eileen M. Conway and Kathleen M. Hertelendy (Mark).  Kay was devoted to her twenty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Sister of Joseph and Daniel Diamond and Marie Hazel (deceased).

Kay grew up in Lansdowne, Pa and attended Notre Dame in Moylan PA.  She kept constant contact with her classmates throughout the years whether it was at the beach or for bridge.  Kay and her husband Pat settled in Media PA to raise their six children.  They were members of St Mary Magdalen parish for many years.  Eventually they would settle into a house on the Eastern Shore of MD where they would define the childhoods of many of their grandchildren.  They would spend their winters at Eagle Creek Golf and Country Club where they would enjoy time with their friends and family.

Funeral Mass: Tuesday, October 25th, 11:30 AM at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd., West Chester, PA 19380.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 25th, from 9:30 to 11:15 AM at SS. Peter and Paul Church prior to Mass.

Interment will be a private family ceremony.
